OpenLaszlo is an open source project that is trying to bring together many of the elements of Rich Internet Applications (RIA). They are working on the "Write once, run anywhere" model.
OpenLaszlo programs are written in XML and JavaScript and compiled to Flash, Java or with OpenLaszlo 4, DHTML/AJAX becomes supported.
