Sharepoint Team Services (STS) 2001 WSS v1 Overview

SharePoint Team Services (STS) ran on Windows 2001. STS provides a fast way to provide a web site with a project team / department for storage and categorisation of documents and links. STS can locate these in one storage area for easy retrieval. STS allows the creation of a team website for each project that is being worked on.

Contributions to STS websites can be made with a web browser or it integrates with Microsoft Windows.

STS team members have access to the following features:

• Contacts
• Events
• Tasks
• Links
• Document libraries
• Discussion boards
• Surveys

SharePoint Team Services (STS) has been replaced with newer and more powerful Sharepoint Technology.
